I still think that these are extremely gorgeous!

But I can't find a clean non-rednecktized example at all...

I forget how great these cars look. The wide body kit reminds me of the imsa touring cars. Did not know there was a turbo variant.

Me neither, especially in collab with McLaren...

a little research, the mclaren have a 3.1 liter turbo intercooled v6 205 hp 230 tq 7 flat 0-60 14.9 1/4. This is the Pontiac with that steering wheel center with all the buttons instead of an airbag I suppose. My 91 spirit rt had an airbag and it was of a similar vintage. This Pontiac also had 4 bucket seats. 3xxx produced in 89 and 3xxx in 90. Pretty rare althought comparing it to th rt, there were 1208 in 1991.

Do love these, but I would have to fill in the mini Testarossa wrap around ridges and ditch the cheesy faux BBS wheels for something cleaner, then it would be cool. I have a sealed model kit waiting for this treatment.

It's a shame the transmissions in just about all W-bodies are made of something slightly stronger than wet toilet paper. I love these cars.

those are 16x8 Alcoa basket weaves. Soo classic for the Pontiac and the times though.

Always loved them. I liked the interior too but not because it was stylistically cool. It had buttons. Lots and lots of buttons.

You had to be a technological genius to figure out all the buttons/features. Loved it.

Oh, and really cool back seats because who needs a bench seat? It is not like anyone ever sat in the 8 inch wide center seat position anyhow.

Ever seen one get rear ended? You'd swear it's a French design seeing how the structural integrity gives up.

When I was younger, I rode around a lot in the back bucket seat of one of these. Yes, it was a Turbo, and it was also red with the gold wheels. Yes I want another one.

I was never a great fan of BBS wheels either so not crazy about those. They were too fussy as much Pontiac detailing was back then, even if the basic shape was cool.

I miss that time with GM. They felt so advance design wise back then.

The Getrag is much better than the 4t60, 65, and 65hd. I know from experience. I used to own a '95 Monte Carlo Z34 with the Twin Dual Cam 3.4. I annihilated 2 4t60's in that, then later when I got a '01 GTP, I blew one '65hd in that.
